It’s true what they say about the brain and the way it works during the night. I spent many years terrified of the dark; visions of demons and ghouls haunted my efforts of sleep. A decade and a half later, new hauntings keep me awake. Much like the creatures from the past these hauntings are exaggerated but sickly addictive.
